SAKHA — "Your Friend in Campus" — is the Student Counselling Services of IIT (BHU), a faculty-student body dedicated to the holistic development and wellbeing of students since April 2019.
Motivation & Goal
Young adults and students constitute a vital human resource and play a central role in shaping the nation's future. In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasises the intrinsic linkage between education and mental health, Student Counselling Services (SCS), IIT (BHU), functioning as SAKHA — a supportive companion in students' academic and personal journeys — proposes to organise a Wellness & Wellbeing Capacity-Building Workshop.
